Each student should click on the orange comments bar and enter his/her writing from the project. In order to post, he/she must obtain a google account, which is free.

This was an awesome project to do. I think Ms. Melancon really helped me get in touch with who I am while doing this project. This is my best project so far and i am really proud of it! ;)

Hi, I'm Chloe. I am in Ms. Melancon's english class. I did the "My Life in Vinyl" Project. There is a picture of my vinyl on the main page. It is the one with the big green eye on it. It is titled, "She's Got Machine Gun Eyes". The title was taken from the song "Machine Gun Baby" by Meriwether.

The second song on my album was "My Immortal" by Evanescece. This is my reflexion on this song, that I wrote in my paper...

“And if you have to leave, I wish that you would just leave. Your presence still lingers here, and it won’t leave me alone.” Every time I listen to this song, “My Immortal” by Evanescence, I feel like I am jumping into a pool of my past bringing back every bad memory with every breath. But these are bad memories are good ones in a since that they made me stronger. These are the memories of the people I’ve lost in life, friendship, and relationships, through death, lies, cheats, revenge, and break-ups. With every lost there lies a scar, with every scar there lies a meaning, and with every meaning there is a story. These are untold stories that I have engraved in my soul, stories I am too afraid to let go, too afraid of moving on with out them. I would save myself from a lot of pain by letting go, but then I would never suffer. Through suffering is how I’ve learned who I truly am.

In the end this was my absolute favorite project, that i have ever completed in any class. :)

Hey. Im in Ms. Melancon's English Class. I really liked this project. It was different than most other literature assignments, but it still used writing and literary skills, so it was great both ways.

I had a broad assortment of music. On of the songs I picked for my paper was "No Rain," by Blind Melon. It is just one of my favorite songs that reminds me of some great memories. I really loved this porject and would reccomend that everyone, even people that are not in school, at least think about this project. Everyone should reflect on memories, whether they are good or bad, and this is a great assignment to show it.

I really did enjoy working on this project. I loved how we could write about memories and people who mean so much to us. The project had no limitations which made it so much easier to really include everything we wanted to. I was excited to start working on this project because I love looking back on times in my life. This project was the absolute best ever :) Emmy&I will keep it in our expandable files forever and ever!

I loved this project, at the beginning it was hard to pick just twelve songs, I feel like I could have had at least 20 or so. Ms.Melancon is the best english teacher ever and I think that everyone is going to miss her so much next year!!!

This was an amazing project to do to reflect on your life and your memories with the people you love. I had an amazing time writing this memoir and truly putting my heart on paper. It was free writing and really had no guidelines or limits. It was a fun project to complete, knowing that I would enjoy it for years to come. I will keep it to enjoy and share with my family and friends. It was an amazing project and I would do it all over again in a few years to see how much I have changed.. There were many people who impacted my life and made this memoir possible. My parents, my sister, my brothers, and my friends are all necessities to my life. I absolutely love my best friend Ally*Cat

This project was so much fun. I really enjoyed writing about how these songs impacted me. It brought back all of the fun and happy memories that I have, and it caused a lot of emotion, especially during my presentation. I am glad that I have such great friends in my life who support me.

I am so grateful that we had a chance to create this incredible project. We would not be able to do this project without our AMAZING teacher: Ms. Melancon. She is just THE best, literally. The reason I enjoyed this project was because it brought back numerous of fond memories to me. I liked how we were able to pick songs that relate to our memories and experiences. Again, this was an EXTREMELY neat project, although it was time consuming(:

All of the vinyls were AWESOME. One of the best one was daddyG's. When you looked at hers, you just feel warm in the heart.
